I was excited to discover the Notes Plus app but I have really been struggling with it–my writing is a mess, at times I can’t write at all and the mouse pad jumps up and down quite a bit, making it impossible to complete a sentence. I’m sure there’s a learning curve, but any recommendations on what I could be doing wrong? I have a highly rated stylus, the TruGlide Duo, so I don’t think that’s the problem.

    Any advice?

      Hi Michele,

Here are some tips that could improve your writing experience with Notes Plus:

      1. Make sure you’ve turned off “Multitasking Gestures” on iOS by returning to iPad’s Home screen > tap “General” > toggle “Multitasking Gestures” to OFF. As you rest your wrist on the screen while writing, iOS frequently interprets your hand/wrist as 3 or 4 points of touch and this could interfere your writing.
      2. Use close-up writing box (long press on the screen) to handwrite, the area below the box is also a palm pad where you can lay palm down while writing.
      3. Make sure Pen icon is being selected (instead of Hand icon) while writing.
      4. If you see weird behaviors occurring once in a while, try to kill Notes Plus in the background dock and launch the app afresh, that could solve most of strange behaviors.

Please try again and let us know if you’re still encountering problems.

      Thanks,
      -Duy
