To all my beloved users,

Today Notes Plus celebrates 100K download milestones – yeah!!!. Besides having a sale this weekend for prospective users, who heard good things about Notes Plus but couldn’t afford it, I want to give something back to my current users, who have been giving me valuable feedbacks and suggestions (feature requests) since day one of Notes Plus. There have been thousands of users who personally contacted me and left comments on this site. I wanted to give a physical gift to each of you but I can’t so I’m organizing a little contest, just like the last Give Away.

I’ll be having the same Piel Frama Luxury iPad Cinema Case for the grand prize. I still think that it’s a luxury item that you would think twice before buying for yourself (I don’t even have one for myself); that’s why it should be a gift.     I have had your program for quite awhile however have not used it for a few months. To my surprise the interface changed drastically. I must admit I was hoping to just jump back to my legal note taking but not so. I am up for the challenge. I was hoping with the the update there would be a way to hyperlink to websites. I did to notice that capability. Is this something that is being looked at?

    How do I get each note to reflect the date I wrote it? All dates on all notes change to the current date.

      Hi Rob,

      Did these notes convert from v2? There’s a bug about date creation on v3.0 due to a glitch in our conversion tool. If you still keep a backup copy (NotesPlusPlus.sqlite), you can restore to correct date once v3.0.1 is available in App Store (plan to submit next Monday).

    Love this App so far. There is one thing I can’t work out at the moment. How do I rename pages. At the moment all the pages are named ‘Untitled”. How do I edit that?

      We pulled Dropbox back the last minute because of some stability issues. We will put it back in in version 3.0.1 which will be just a couple week away. This time Dropbox will be automatic full sync (2 ways).

    I love all of the additions for v3 but I cannot make the in app purchase. I can pull up the option to purchase (that first window that appears after selecting the convert to text option) but when I select the button to buy, nothing happens! This (with the search capabilities) was one of the things I was most excited about. Please help.

      Hi Erin,

      Could you please try to logout of your iTunes account on your iPad and purchase it while logging out? Some people said that this would make it works. For more detail, please refer to the FAQ entry in the top of this page: http://notesplusapp.com/versions/version-3

    First of all: Great job done!
    I just purchased the MyScript Add-In… and had to notify that the German language is – other than being done by the MyScript App – not supported. Will there be an update bringing this feature?

    Excellent work and customer support guys. I cant wait for v3 to arrive.
    Just wonder if you will add more online backup providers to the list, i.e. icloud and sugarsync? I personally feel that sugarsync is more userfriendly than dropbox, and hope to see it come to notes plus.

      We’re focusing on Dropbox but we’re open to other backup services if there’s a demand. We’ll try our best to accommodate everyone’s needs.

      Hi Fabiano,

      That is planned to be in a future update. You’ll be able to tap on a portion of text and play some audio associated with it.

    Dear Sir,
    I just updated the app and it now freezes and has problems opening after a freeze. The app seems to freeze after a few minutes of writing, when it freezes it erases the last few things I have written. Could you please advise.

      Hi Kurt,

      Please empty the trash and exit all other unused apps from the background. This should help speed up the app a little bit and prevent crashes. To get back missing text, try this tip from another user: circle the entire screen to select everything and move it around a little bit. Then, press the Undo button until everything is back in place.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I bought NotesPlus few months ago and I use it to take my business notes. Since I have updated my iPad operating system IOS 5, nothing is working. I cannot take notes and The whole screen has become unstable.

    Is there any solution to my problem? This is rely disappointing me!

      Hi Guy-Guy,

      Does the app crash every time you open Notes Plus? There is a known issue on iOS5 that keep iPad constantly crashing when jumping through pages. We submitted another update v2.3.6 to App Store yesterday to fix these crashes. All we have to do is waiting for Apple to approve our submission (which could take a few days).
