Reporter : Mark F.

I can’t see the whole page. I can’t get a zoom out to see the whole page no matter how hard I try. Granted, I can see almost all of the page, but not all of it. Couple that with the wasted space around the edges with the beveling and I start to feel a little claustrophobic when writing. PLEASE ditch the fancy beveling. By my measure it’s taking up over 8% of the width of the screen. Same comment about the beveling at the bottom of the screen.

Steps :

1. Manually move your close-up box towards the end of the line, but make sure it’s not totally at the end.
3. Now press the “move right” arrow as if you wanted to write even further than the margin. And you’ll get this:
http://img276.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=642695491_close_up3_122_582lo.jpg
4. Try to add another word next to the line you have already written

–> the close-up box flashes grey while you do so.

NP 3.0.3, 2/6 build

Webarchive failure.

- Started with a 2 page document that was just inking.
- Copied a page from a PDF notebook into page 3 of the first document.
- Annotated on the third page with ink
- Selected Export->Email->WebArchive entire notebook
- Mailed it myself
- Received email on my ipad
- Imported this web archive into NP 3.0.3

The web archive shows that it’s 3 pages. However, all 3 pages are the same and they are the annotations from page 3 without the base PDF!

Selecting the import to notebook feature and I get all 3 pages as I expect. They are just rendering incorrectly on the left pane.

Interesting, I also imported the web archive into NotesPlus 3.0.2 and it does the same thing and Awesome Reader and IT does the same thing too. So something must be wrong in the format of the webarchive itself so that no program can render it correctly, but NotesPlus is somehow able to extract the actual data.

Description :

How I triggered it, on a clean 3.0.2 installation: created a few shapes, a new notebook, a few shapes in the new notebook, switched to left handed mode -> everything was working fine.
Then closed the app.
Re-opened it and the bug was finally there (even going back to right handed mode).

I don’t know which of the actions I took actually triggered it; I’ll do more tests later, but probably you’ll figure it out easily yourself.
